First record of Mysidopsis gemina Price, Heard & Vargas, 2019 (Crustacea, Peracarida, Mysida, Mysidae) on the west coast of Mexico

Mysidopsis gemina Price, Heard & Vargas, 2019, a species of mysid shrimp recorded for Pacific Costa Rica, was collected in western Mexico on October 19th, 2022, at the entrance Gulf California. This is first record north Rica and it represents distribution range extension to approximately 13 degrees latitude. A comparison diagnostic morphological features Rican Mexican specimens given.
